The University of Lodz respects the users’ right to privacy, by applying appropriate safeguards and technological solutions it strives to ensure the protection of personal data from access by third parties.

Registration, personal data

Some services of UŁ require registration or logging in to access the full functionality of the server. The registration form should contain personal data, such as: name and surname, identification number, address, date of birth, gender, as well as login and password or other necessary information to use the service. In the relevant form you should also, in accordance with the current Act on Personal Data Protection, give your consent to the processing of your personal data for the purposes of a given service of the University of Łódź. Apart from the registration form, users’ personal data may be collected when using other services such as a newsletter or when organizing occasional activities/events.

The University of Lodz informs that it is the administrator of personal data processed within the portal, unless the data are processed within the framework of specific services provided to other entities – in such case UŁ provides only services to the administrators in the scope of data processing.
